The football team, known as The Dewey Schools Football Team or TDS Football for short, comprises three main divisions: U12, U15, and U18. The team has achieved numerous accolades and participated in a variety of tournaments. Currently, it is recognized as the most advanced and well-established sports team in the school, exemplifying consistent growth and excellence. Through unwavering dedication and teamwork, TDS Football has set a high benchmark for other sports teams, showcasing remarkable progress in skills, strategy, and organization.

MY STORIES

Recognizing the visible success of the school’s basketball team, The Dewey Schools entrusted me with the responsibility of further developing the school’s football team. At the time, the soccer team was in a similar position—still in its early stages and not yet fully established.

At that time, the football team was still in its infancy, presenting both challenges and opportunities for us to spearhead the growth of the football movement at the school. Although a team existed, its achievements and the level of support from students, parents, and the school were minimal. Recognizing this as a unique chance to lay the foundation for the team's future, I decided to step in as a manager. My goal was to develop the team across various aspects, with a particular focus on enhancing its communication and visibility both within and beyond the school community.

MY RESPONSIBILITIES

Building team identity and online presence

Manage social media platforms to engage with fans and showcase the team's activities.
Create visually appealing content, such as highlight videos, posters, and player profiles, to boost visibility.

Logistics and

operational support

Organize practice schedules. Arrange for essential supplies like water.
Oversee transportation and accommodations for games and tournaments.

In keeping with the marine theme of our school's sports team ecosystem, we chose the whale as our mascot. They represent strength, determination, power, authority and intelligent.

Color palette

Mint is the color of freshness and tranquility. Light mint evokes a sense of peace and serenity, while deeper mint shades convey calmness, and creativity.
