HEADMANAGER, THE DEWEY SCHOOL BASKETBALL TEAM

The team is called The Dewey Schools Basketball Team or TDS Basketball for short, the team consists of 3 main teams: U12, U15 and U18. The team has accomplished numerous achievements and participated in various tournaments. At present, it stands as the most advanced and well-established sports team in the school, demonstrating consistent growth and excellence. Through dedication and teamwork, the team has set a high standard for other sports teams, showcasing exceptional development in skills, and organization.

MY STORIES

Although it has been around for several years and has participated in several large and small tournaments, the team has yet to receive attention from the basketball community. As of November 2023, the team was truly formed, with a systematic operating model, with important personnel positions, such as founder-team captain, head manager, head of logistics and professional personnel. From December 2023, the team's social networking sites, including Facebook Page, Instagram and TikTok, officially went into operation, thereby attracting a lot of interactions and attention from students inside and outside the school.

Therefore, the basketball team has not yet developed as the school's community expect, this is both a difficulty and an opportunity for us to build and pioneer the development of the basketball movement at the school. Even though there is a team, the achievements and support from students, parents and the school are not much. Because of this, I realized that this was a great opportunity for me to become one of the pioneers in building the foundation for the team. I decided to join the team as a manager, to develop the team in many aspects, especially communication for the team inside and outside the school.

Oversee transportation and accommodations for games and tournaments.

Design and oversee the production of team merchandise, such as jerseys, hoodies, or other fan gear.
Plan and execute sales strategies to generate revenue and strengthen fan loyalty.

What is "TEAM IDENTITY"?

Team identity in a basketball team refers to the unique characteristics, and values that define the team and differentiate it from others. It shapes how the team sees itself, how its members work together, and how it is perceived by the broader community.

A clear and strong team identity builds

It helps players stay focused on shared goals, especially during tough games. It also attracts fans and fosters pride, making the team more than just a group of players—it becomes a community.
